ATV8 User's Manual is intended for users who use a product with a raised version of ATV8 firmware based on AOSP.
This manual is the most basic manual for using the product, so you must read it carefully to use it.
· ATV8 User's Manual 05：System Upgrade
Provides OTA firmware for system upgrade.
Applying the OTA firmware provides updates for system error correction and feature addition.
Press " Settings " on the upper right to enter " ATV Settings ".
Select " Online upgrade/backup " from the menu.
This is the configuration of the online upgrade menu.
· Upgrad e: Download and install the firmware file for system file upgrade.
· Reinstall by Online: Download and reinstall the firmware file to resolve system errors.
· System App Upgrade: Downloads the firmware file for upgrading the main system app.
· Version Info: Check system update history.
· Backup Userdata: Backs up user setting data files.
· Restore Userdata: Restores the system with the user setting data file.
If you change the " Auto OTA " item at the bottom to " ON ", the notification window pops up by checking the update file when booting.
The system will reboot and display a notification message when new updates are available.
Press "Upgrade" to update the system.
Press the " Normal " to download the firmware file for system update.
After system upgrade, you can use the system as it is with the existing settings.
You can stop downloading the update file by selecting " Cancel ".
Download the file for firmware installation.
When the gauge rises to 100, it is complete.
When the download of the file is completed and the message " DO you want to upgrade system " appears, select " OK ".
The system reboots and the update installation process proceeds.
The system restarts automatically after installation.
Downloading the firmware file and upgrading the system may take up to 10 minutes depending on the Internet environment.
